Ask Kroger to Keep Carrying PureFit Bars in 2010

Because of the economic crunch, many national grocery store chains are being forced to scale back their inventory and product offerings, and the nutrition bar category — which is packed with a bunch of candy bars posing as nutrition bars — is feeling the crunch.

Kroger, which offers PureFit Nutrition Bars in nearly 1,000 stores nationwide, is hands down the largest and most popular retail partner we have. Because our bars are offered in so many of their locations throughout the U.S., we need your help in communicating to Kroger just how important it is to you — our loyal customers — to be able to find our bars in your local market.

The next time you visit a Kroger store, please be sure to tell the store manager that you want Kroger to continue to carry the award-winning and all-natural line of PureFit Bars. Similarly, you can send Kroger a message about this online by clicking here.

Thank you in advance for your continued support our bars. Great things are in store for 2010, and with your help, you’ll soon see what that is at your local Kroger store!

Sincerely,

Robb Dorf, Founder & CEO

It is really hard to find gluten free items that actually taste good at Krogers. Please keep these bars. I just wish that it said gluten free larger on the box. Kroger also needs to do a better job at marking their gluten free products in the stores.

I went to a Ralphs Fresh Fair Store but I was not able to find Pure Fit. I tried and purchased some at the Surf City Event and now I was looking for it and unfortunately had trouble locating at Kroger stores. In my town there is four Kroger store and none are carrying the item.

I wish the kroger 6766 Hickory Flat Hwy
Canton, GA 30115 would carry the pure fit bars because I’m very close to that store and I really don’t want to go a different store, but if I have to I will

I’m looking forward to trying one because my personal trainer recommended them

    Thanks

The PureFit bars are the very BEST available. I’ve been regularly purchasing them at a Frys grocery store in Arizona, which is a Kroger-owned chain. They have recently been taken off the shelves. Today, I sent a request (using your link, thanks!) to Kroger to reinstate the PureFit bars on their shelves because my husband and I shop there all the time and it’s so convenient. I plan to explore other store options today. If that’s not satisfactory, then I’ll just order online. Please keep these great nutrition bars available to the public. There’s nothing else even close to them-believe me, I’ve looked. Thank you for your wonderful products!

Kroger’s email department does not have any control over whether your local store carries this product.

  7. Jeremy's Mom Says:

Joe, why would you make a comment like that? What do you think the “email department”, that’s a joke right, does all day? At my company we make sure each email gets directed to the proper person within our organization. Apparently, other companies don’t do the same–it’s nothing to brag about. At the very least, you could have offered other suggestions.

Like many people I know, I'm health conscious and concerned about what I eat. The first-hand knowledge I've gained over the years (in the process of training for and competing in various athletic competitions) has proven to be invaluable in my pursuit of the ideal nutrition bar.

Personally, I grew up in Sylvania, Ohio, and started long-distance running at the ripe age of 12. To this day, you can find me running, biking, hiking, or doing something else related to human-powered outdoor recreation on nearly a daily basis.

Here, on the PureFit Blog, you can read all about what's going on at our little company and what we think about the state of the nutrition bar industry and the world we live in, as well as leave a comment or two of your own.
